Isha Mangalmurti is a 2D animation filmmaker and illustrator with a strong focus on narrative-driven storytelling. 

 

Her work spans short films, music videos, title sequences, cultural commissions, and children’s books. She has worked across direction, animation, and illustration for brands and clients including Google, Netflix, Amazon Prime, the LA Philharmonic, Penguin Books, and the Goethe-Institut.  

 

A graduate of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad (Animation Film Design, 2018), her practice is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in blending fiction and non-fiction to tell grounded, human-centered stories. Previously, she was a co-founder of Ghost Animation Studio.
